Vardar

A cold, strong, and gusty northerly wind that blows through the Vardar River valley in North Macedonia and Greece. It is a katabatic wind, accelerating as it descends from the mountains towards the Aegean Sea. This wind often brings clear skies and can cause considerable cooling in the affected regions.
