Stikine wind

A strong, cold, and dry katabatic wind that flows from the interior of British Columbia, Canada, through the Stikine River valley to the coast of Southeast Alaska. This wind is channeled by the topography of the Coast Mountains, accelerating as it descends. It frequently brings clear skies and very cold temperatures to the coastal region during winter months.
