Devil

A small, rapidly rotating column of air that forms under clear skies in hot, dry conditions, lifting dust or sand from the ground. These whirlwinds are typically much smaller and weaker than tornadoes, forming from surface heating rather than organized storm systems. Dust devils are common in arid and semi-arid regions worldwide.
