Whirlies

Small, localized columns of rotating air that lift dust, sand, or light debris from the ground. These phenomena, also known as dust devils, form under clear skies with strong surface heating, creating unstable atmospheric conditions. They are most common in arid and semi-arid regions during warm, sunny afternoons.
