Height-change chart

A meteorological chart that displays the change in geopotential height of a constant pressure surface over a specific time interval. These charts are used to identify areas of rising or falling pressure, which indicate atmospheric tendencies and the movement of weather systems. A common interval for such charts is 12 or 24 hours.
