Levantera

A strong, easterly wind that blows across the Mediterranean Sea, particularly affecting the Adriatic coast. This wind is often associated with cyclonic activity over the central Mediterranean, bringing moist air and sometimes precipitation. It is a regional wind system, similar to the levante, but impacting a different geographical area.
