Maestro

A type of severe thunderstorm that exhibits a rotating updraft, often leading to the formation of tornadoes. These storms are characterized by a well-defined mesocyclone and can produce large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall. The term is less common in formal meteorological literature, where "supercell" is the standard classification for such storms.
