Phytometer

A plant or group of plants used to measure the integrated effect of environmental factors on plant growth and development. These plants serve as biological indicators, reflecting the combined influence of light, temperature, humidity, and soil conditions. Phytometers are often employed in ecological studies to compare growth rates under different environmental regimes or to monitor changes over time.
