Phytotoxic

Describing a substance, such as an air pollutant, that is poisonous or harmful to plant life. Phytotoxic effects manifest as visible injury like leaf necrosis or chlorosis, or as more subtle impacts like reduced growth and yield. Common phytotoxic pollutants include ozone (O3), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and nitrogen oxides (NOx), which damage plant cells and interfere with photosynthesis.
