Plant climate zone

A geographical region characterized by specific climatic conditions that determine the types of plants that can successfully grow there. These zones are typically defined by factors such as minimum and maximum temperatures, precipitation levels, and frost dates. The USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map is a widely used system for classifying these zones based on average annual extreme minimum winter temperatures.
