Thermal zone

A geographical region characterized by a relatively uniform range of temperatures or a distinct temperature regime. These zones are often delineated by isotherms and reflect the influence of latitude, altitude, and proximity to large bodies of water. Examples include tropical, temperate, and polar thermal zones.
