Climatic zone

A broad geographical band encircling the Earth, characterized by similar average temperature and precipitation patterns, primarily determined by latitude. These zones range from tropical near the equator to polar at the poles, with temperate zones in between. The distribution of solar radiation is the primary driver of these large-scale divisions.
