Temperate belt

One of the two broad geographical zones on Earth located between the tropics and the polar regions in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. These belts experience distinct seasonal changes in temperature and precipitation, without the extreme heat of the tropics or the persistent cold of the poles. The temperate belts lie approximately between 23.5 and 66.5 degrees latitude.
