Rain and snow mixed

A type of precipitation consisting of both liquid rain droplets and solid snowflakes falling simultaneously. This occurs when the atmospheric temperature profile is near freezing, allowing some precipitation to melt while other parts remain frozen. It is often observed during transitions between winter and spring or autumn weather conditions.
