Snow cloud

A cloud composed primarily of ice crystals and snowflakes, from which snow is falling or is expected to fall. These clouds form in cold atmospheric conditions where water vapor freezes directly into ice or supercooled water droplets freeze upon contact with ice nuclei. They are a common feature of winter weather systems.
