SIGMET information

Aeronautical advisories on en-route weather phenomena that could affect the safety of aircraft operations, such as severe turbulence, severe icing, widespread dust or sandstorms, volcanic ash and tropical cyclones. SIGMETs are issued by meteorological watch offices, with validity of up to four hours, or up to six hours for volcanic ash and tropical cyclones.
