Stability categories

A classification system used to describe the atmospheric conditions that influence the dispersion of pollutants. These categories are typically determined by factors such as wind speed, solar radiation, and cloud cover, ranging from very unstable to very stable. The Pasquill-Gifford stability classes are a widely recognized set of six categories.
