Pasquill stability classes
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007816
A classification system used to characterize atmospheric turbulence and dispersion conditions, ranging from very unstable (Class A) to very stable (Class F). These classes are determined by factors such as wind speed, solar radiation, and cloud cover. They are widely applied in air pollution modeling to estimate the spread of contaminants.
