Visible imagery

Satellite images captured using reflected sunlight in the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, typically between 0.4 and 0.7 micrometers. These images show features as they would appear to the human eye, with brighter areas indicating higher reflectivity. Clouds, snow, and land surfaces are clearly discernible, but it is only available during daylight hours.
