Visible radiation

Electromagnetic radiation that is detectable by the human eye, spanning wavelengths approximately from 400 to 700 nanometers. This portion of the spectrum is responsible for the colors we perceive. In meteorology, visible radiation from the sun drives atmospheric processes and is used in satellite remote sensing.
