Light
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006941
Electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, typically ranging in wavelength from about 400 to 700 nanometers. In atmospheric science, light interacts with atmospheric constituents through scattering and absorption, influencing phenomena such as sky color, rainbows, and visibility. Solar radiation is the primary source of light in the Earth's atmosphere.
