Choke manifold

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000661

An arrangement of high-pressure valves and chokes used to control the flow rate and pressure of fluids from the wellbore during well control events. It allows for the controlled release of formation fluids and drilling mud, preventing uncontrolled blowouts. The manifold typically includes multiple chokes for redundancy and fine pressure adjustment.
