Frac manifold
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004338
A system of high-pressure valves, chokes, and piping that directs and controls the flow of fracturing fluid from multiple pumps to the wellhead. It combines the output from several pumping units into a single stream, achieving the high flow rates and pressures required for hydraulic fracturing operations. The manifold also includes pressure relief valves for safety and connection points for monitoring equipment, with pressure ratings that must exceed the maximum treating pressure, often over 10,000 psi.
