Zipper manifold
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004206
A high-pressure manifold on a multi-well pad that connects one set of fracturing pumps to several wellheads through remotely operated valves. Pumping can switch quickly from one well to another, so the crew stimulates stages on one well while wireline perforates or plugs the next, which supports zipper fracturing and cuts idle pump time between stages. The manifold is typically rated for treating pressures of 10,000 to 15,000 psi.
