Completion fluid
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000780
A specialized fluid used during the well completion phase to control formation pressures, clean the wellbore, and transport solids. It must be compatible with reservoir fluids and formation rock to avoid damage to the producing zone. Common types include brines, oil-based fluids, and polymer solutions, selected based on well conditions and reservoir characteristics.
