Casing completion
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000561
A well completion method where the production casing is run and cemented through the hydrocarbon reservoir, and then perforated to allow formation fluids to flow into the wellbore. This approach provides zonal isolation and allows for selective production from different intervals. It is a common completion type, especially in wells requiring precise control over production zones.
