Multiple completion
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002483
A well completion design that allows for the simultaneous production of hydrocarbons from two or more separate reservoir zones through a single wellbore. This is achieved by isolating each zone with packers and running separate tubing strings or concentric tubing. Multiple completions are used to maximize recovery and reduce drilling costs in fields with stacked pay zones.
