Commingled flow

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000762

The production of fluids from two or more distinct reservoir zones through a single wellbore and a common production tubing string. This practice allows for simultaneous production from multiple layers, often to maximize recovery or reduce development costs. However, it can complicate reservoir management and production allocation from individual zones.
