Natural completion
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004393
A well completion method where the reservoir has sufficient pressure and permeability to produce hydrocarbons at economic rates without stimulation. The well is completed by simply perforating the casing across the productive interval, allowing reservoir fluids to flow naturally into the wellbore and up to the surface. This approach is contrasted with wells that require hydraulic fracturing or acidizing to achieve commercial production.
