A well treatment applied to enhance the productivity of an oil or gas well by improving fluid flow from the reservoir into the wellbore. This involves altering the reservoir rock or the fluid properties near the well. Common methods include hydraulic fracturing, acidizing, and solvent injection, which can increase production rates by several fold.
