Squeeze cementing
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003561
A remedial cementing technique that involves forcing cement slurry into a specific zone under pressure to seal off unwanted fluid communication or repair casing damage. This process is used to isolate water or gas zones, repair leaks in casing or liner, or abandon depleted perforations. The cement is displaced into the target area and allowed to set, forming a permanent seal.
