Secondary cementing

Any cementing operation performed after the primary cement job, often referred to as remedial cementing. This includes squeeze cementing to repair leaks or improve zonal isolation, plugback cementing to abandon a zone, or setting kick-off plugs for directional drilling. The objective is to restore well integrity or modify the wellbore for future operations.
