Integrated circuit
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000003
A set of electronic circuits on a small flat piece of semiconductor material, typically silicon. It integrates many transistors, resistors, and capacitors into a single miniature package. ICs are the fundamental building blocks of almost all modern electronic equipment, ranging from simple logic gates to complex microprocessors.
