Bioprinting

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000037

An additive manufacturing process that uses living cells and biomaterials, often referred to as bioinks, to fabricate complex three-dimensional functional tissues and organs. This technique involves depositing these materials layer by layer with high spatial resolution to mimic natural tissue architecture. Bioprinting holds promise for applications in regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and disease modeling.
