Biopolymer
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000432
A polymer produced by living organisms or derived from renewable biomass, used as a material in additive manufacturing, particularly in bioprinting and medical applications. These materials are often biodegradable or biocompatible, making them suitable for implants or tissue engineering. Polylactic acid (PLA) is a common example of a biopolymer used in 3D printing.
