Geometry
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000156
The shape, size, and spatial arrangement of a three-dimensional object or its constituent features. In additive manufacturing, the geometry of a part is defined by a digital model, which dictates how the material is deposited layer by layer. Complex geometries, such as internal lattices or organic forms, are readily achievable with 3D printing.
