Boundary representation geometry
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000039
A method for representing three-dimensional shapes by defining their boundaries as a set of connected surfaces, edges, and vertices. This geometric modeling technique precisely describes the exact shape of an object, including its internal and external features. It is commonly used in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating models that are then prepared for additive manufacturing.
