Solid model

A complete and unambiguous digital representation of a three-dimensional object, including both its exterior surfaces and its internal volume. This type of model contains all the necessary geometric and topological information for manufacturing and analysis. STL files, while widely used, are surface models and do not inherently contain solid information.
