Solid ground curing
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000359
An additive manufacturing process that uses a photopolymer resin cured by a high-intensity ultraviolet lamp through a liquid crystal display (LCD) mask. After each layer is cured, a milling operation levels the surface, and a wax-like material fills any voids to provide support for subsequent layers. This method produces highly accurate parts with smooth surfaces.
