LCD masking
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000200
A method used in resin-based 3D printing, specifically in masked stereolithography (MSLA) or digital light processing (DLP) systems, where an LCD screen acts as a dynamic mask to selectively block UV light. This screen projects the image of each layer, curing the liquid photopolymer resin in the desired pattern. The resolution of the printed part is determined by the pixel density of the LCD screen.
