Layer thickness
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000199
The height of each individual layer of material deposited or cured during the additive manufacturing process. This parameter directly influences the vertical resolution, surface finish, and overall printing time of a 3D printed object. Thinner layers generally result in smoother surfaces and finer details but increase the total build time.
