Minimum layer thickness
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000235
The smallest achievable height of a single layer of material deposited during an additive manufacturing process. This parameter directly influences the resolution, surface finish, and overall build time of a printed part. For many polymer-based 3D printers, this value is often in the range of 0.05 to 0.3 millimeters.
