Build layer

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000053

A single, thin cross-sectional slice of material deposited or solidified during the additive manufacturing process. Each layer contributes to the overall height and geometry of the final part. The thickness of these layers, often measured in micrometers, directly affects the part's resolution and surface finish.
