Maximum layer thickness

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000221

The largest permissible height for a single layer of material deposited or solidified during an additive manufacturing process. This parameter is constrained by the capabilities of the 3D printer and the material properties, influencing build speed and surface finish. Exceeding this limit can lead to poor layer adhesion or incomplete curing.
