Voxel
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000411
A three-dimensional pixel, representing a single volumetric element in a digital model or a physical object. In additive manufacturing, voxels define the smallest addressable unit of material that can be deposited or cured by a 3D printer. The resolution of a printed part is directly related to the size of its voxels.
