Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-001331
A volumetric pixel, representing a value on a regular grid in three-dimensional space. It is the 3D equivalent of a 2D pixel in an image, carrying information such as color, density, or opacity for a specific point in a volume. Voxels are commonly used in medical imaging, scientific visualization, and 3D modeling where volumetric data representation is required, such as in CT or MRI scans.
