Grid computing

A distributed computing paradigm that pools computing resources from multiple geographically dispersed computers to achieve a common goal. It allows for the aggregation of processing power and data storage to solve complex computational problems that would be intractable for a single machine. Grid computing is often used in scientific research and large-scale data analysis.
