Photopolymer
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000276
A light-sensitive resin that changes its physical properties when exposed to light, most commonly ultraviolet (UV) light. In 3D printing, these liquid materials are used in processes such as stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP). Upon light exposure, the monomers and oligomers within the photopolymer cross-link to form a solid polymer structure.
