Photopolymerization
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000277
An additive manufacturing process in which a liquid photopolymer resin is selectively cured, or solidified, by a light source. Technologies like Stereolithography (SLA) use a laser to draw each layer, while Digital Light Processing (DLP) projects an entire layer image at once. This method is known for producing parts with very fine details and smooth surface finishes, with layer heights often measuring between 25 and 100 microns.
