Vat
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000451
A container holding liquid photopolymer resin in stereolithography (SLA) and other vat photopolymerization additive manufacturing processes. A light source, typically a laser or projector, selectively cures layers of the resin within this vat to form the 3D object. The resin in the vat is replenished as layers are solidified and the build platform rises.
